A first-person horror driving game
It has no name for what you are.
The forest has been here longer than the roads. It was not waiting for you. It was not waiting at all. The wood does not distinguish between what arrives and what stays.
Old Growth is a first-person horror driving game about scale, isolation, and the deepening contact with of something you can not name.
The light is different in each part of the wood. Not just the quality of it. What it falls on. Some of what is in it arrived the same way you did. Some of it did not arrive at all.
Nothing you do goes unnoticed. Collecting resources, running the engine hard, driving deeper into the wood. It registers, but not in a language you already speak.
The van is sanctuary, weapon, and the only barrier between you and the wood. Every impact registers. The dashboard instruments lie when something is paying attention.
